The next safe pass courses will be on Saturdays, 11th and 25th February 2012 from 8am – 5pm at the Waterford Crystal Sport & Leisure Centre, Cork Road, Waterford. Group bookings and in-house training are also available. Cost per person is €130 per person which can be paid on the day by cash or cheque. Contact Waterford Chamber at 051 872639 for more details.
Construction workers are bound by law to hold a valid Safe Pass card. Waterford Chamber runs regular training in Safe Pass to facilitate companies to avail of cost effective and efficiently organised training at a local level.
Safe Pass training is provided to ensure that all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training with a view to making a positive contribution to the prevention of accidents and avoidance of health hazards.
Notes:
- A passport photo with a signature on the back and a PPS number are required on the day of the safe pass training course
- Participants must be over 16 years of age and have a good command of the English language
- Participants arriving after the course commences will not be permitted entry
