Waterford Chamber Skillnet focuses on the critical skills required to improve the performance of member companies. The aim of the network is to identify common training needs, deliver training locally using the highest caliber trainers, dramatically reduce training costs through collaboration and attract grant aid from the National Training Fund through Skillnet Limited.

Waterford Chamber HR Club, in conjunction with White HR Solutions, recently hosted an expert briefing on HR & Employment Law Issues for 2009. Ria White, HR Consultant, Tom Murran, Managing Partner with Peter O’Connor Solicitors and Damien McDonnell, Executive Officer of Information Services from NERA (National Employment Rights Authority) were the speakers at the event.
Waterford Chamber HR Club, in conjunction with White HR Solutions recently hosted another in a series of expert briefings on HR & Employment Law Issues for 2009. Ria White, HR Consultant, was joined by Anne Marie Caulfield, HR Director, Caulfield McCarthy Group and Paddy McMahon, HR Director, Teva to provide an expert briefing and interactive session on “Assessing your costs vs motivating your people”. The event took place on Thursday, 7th May at The Woodlands Hotel, Dunmore Road, Waterford.

providers to meet its member training requirements. Waterford Chamber
invites applications from interested and suitably qualified parties to provide
training services but does not purport to guarantee it will use any of the panel members. All training is based on member requirements.
All safe pass courses every Saturday will take place from 8am – 5pm at the City Enterprise Centre, Waterford Business Park, Cork Road, Waterford. Group bookings and in-house training is also available. Cost per person is €130 per person and payment must be made in advance.
