Waterford Chamber is seeking members companies to express their interest in joining its new Gift Voucher Scheme. Members can do so by completing the agreement form and returning it to the Chamber. Click here to read the terms & conditions.
The voucher will operate in a similar fashion to the 'One4all' gift voucher. The main difference with our Gift Voucher is that we shall be promoting spending with companies who are Waterford Chamber Members.
It is a fact that individuals see vouchers as an ideal present and purchase these types of vouchers for family members, friends, birthday present, communion presents, retirement presents, etc. In addition companies can purchase these vouchers for staff members up to the value of €250 without affecting PAYE and PRSI. These are ideal gifts and ensure money is spent in the local economy.
There will be a small initial administration charge for setting up the scheme of only €60 per participant. This will allow for secure vouchers and window stickers to be produced. In addition there will be a nominal 5% commission/administration fee on redeemed vouchers (far less than any other current scheme).
Waterford Chamber plans to promote the sale of vouchers to the general public through various outlets (e.g. banks, credit unions). The Chamber will also sell vouchers directly to businesses. There will be PR in local media etc to generate awareness of the gift vouchers and a main focus will be on encouraging people to buy them because they will be supporting their local economy.
