The Retail Committee was established to represent Chamber members based in the retail sector. The committee meets on a regular basis to discuss the issues facing retailers and actively lobbies Waterford City Council on these issues on their behalf. The committee invite the views and opinions of retailers in the city.
The Retail & Hospitality Committee engages with City Council on a regular basis and lobbies City Council on behalf of the businesses it represents. Issues addressed in the past twelve months include commercial rates, parking, signage green routes, planning and enhancement of the City Centre. A number of the issues on which the Committee have lobbied are reflected in the summer programme for the City recently launched by City Council.
