Quish’s Supervalu Tramore has been awarded the prestigious Sea Food Circle BIM Award.
The BIM Seafood Circle recognises and awards hospitality and retail businesses that consistently deliver the highest standards of seafood and service to their customers.
The BIM Seafood Circle awards are awarded by Irish Sea Fisheries Board, the State agency with responsibility for the Irish fishing and aquaculture industry developed the Seafood Circle initiative to support and encourage restaurateurs and retailers that consistently deliver the highest standards of seafood and service to their customers.
Only one of two supermarkets in Waterford to attain the award Manager Niall Shanaghy is naturally delighted, “We are thrilled to have achieved this award status, it really is very highly regarded and I would like to commend our Seafood Charge Hand David Farrell for all of his hard work in order achieve this award.” Niall commented.
The retail element of the programme is assessed by experienced BIM personnel and independent assessors. Applicants receive at least two unannounced visits during the assessment period and report their findings to an independent approvals committee.
