All businesses and community groups are encouraged to enter a float into this year’s a parade and there will be prizes awarded to entries in each category. We hope that this will be a fun and exciting day for all of Tramore.
The best commercial entry will win a prize of €250 cash plus a full page ad in the Tramore Advertiser, sponsored by Tramore Print. The winner of the best community entry will receive a €250 cash prize, sponsored by Tramore Credit Union.
Waterford Chamber is delighted to acknowledge the recent award given to Waterford Regional Hospital.
The hospital recently received the ‘green light’ status for very good performance in the HSE’s unique HealthStat programme. The awards were given in three categories: access to services, patient-centredness and best use of human and financial services.
Despite the numerous recent cutbacks, in particular to budgets and the recruitment of staff, the hospital has managed to work through these difficulties under the direction of Patricia Sullivan, General Manager, and Rob Landers, Clinical Director, and attain ‘green light’ status.
