On Friday, 9th July Waterford Chamber met with representatives from the Polish Embassy in Dublin. The delegation from Dublin included Jacek Jedruszak, Commercial Counsellor, and Beata Janota, Secretary to the Polish Embassy. The Chamber representatives were Anne Marie Caulfield, Deputy President, Kieran Walsh, Director and Michael Garland, CEO of the Chamber.
The informal meeting was set up to discuss how to form better links with Poland through Waterford City and the South East region. With Waterford having one of the largest Polish communities, this region is ideally place to help foster better business and cultural ties.
It is hoped that in the near future two events will be organised to promote business and cultural links with Poland. These events will then become annual events over a period of time.
