WHAT IS THE AIM OF THE AWARD?
Waterford Chamber and 3 Business are committed to promoting excellence in business. The 3 Business Awards acknowledge entrepreneurs and companies that provide exceptional customer service or exhibit outstanding business performance. The award categories are:
1. Best Entrepreneur / New Business Person of the year
2. Outstanding Small Business Award (up to 15 employees - small business)
3. Fastest Growing Business Award (15+ employees - medium to large business)
WHAT IS THE FORMAT?
The three finalists in each category will be selected for a Dragons’ Den type interview which will take place in Waterford Chamber in September 2010. Each category nominee will present to the judging panel and present their case for the business award. All nine category nominees will be invited to the end of year Waterford Chamber Annual Dinner at which each category winner will be announced. There will be one winner from each category and two runner-up awards.
WHAT IS THE PRIZE?
Each winning company will be given a 3 Business Award, made locally by Irish Handmade Glass Ltd. Runners-up will receive a framed 3 Business Award certificate.
HOW DO I MAKE A NOMINATION?
Chamber members and non-members may nominate or be nominated for these Awards by completing the nomination form and sending it to 3 Business Awards, Waterford Chamber, 2 George’s Street, Waterford or submitted by email to

WHO WILL JUDGE THE ENTRIES?
The selection committee includes the Chamber President Tom Murran, Ian Blake of 3, and Dr Tom O'Toole of Waterford Institute of Technology School of Business. |
