About the Retail Committee PDF Print E-mail

The Retail Committee was established to represent Chamber members based in the retail sector. The committee meets on a regular basis to discuss the issues facing retailers and actively lobbies Waterford City Council on these issues on their behalf.

 

The committee invite the views and opinions of retailers in the city.

Liaison with City Council 

The Retail Committee regularly consults with City Council to represent the views of retailers on issues such as city developments, litter, car parking, signage etc.

Liaison with Waterford Garda

The Retail Committee meets with the Waterford Gardaí to discuss Garda presence in the City Centre and CCTV, with the aim of making the City Centre a safer place for retailers and shoppers alike.
