Waterford Chamber’s Annual Golf Classic sponsored by Waterford Crystal took place at Waterford Golf Club on Friday, 25th July 2008. Twenty five teams tee-d off on a beautiful day where spirits were high, as was the competition! Read more >>>
1st prize went to Clem Jacob Hire with a score of 81 points (Clem Jacob, Michael Carey & Tom Joe Power). It was closely contested by Veolia Waterford in 2nd place with a score of 79 points (Warren Doyle, Colm Keating & Colin Lynch). Nursing & Allied Services finished 3rd with 78 points (Tony McKeown, Michael Connolly & Eoin O’Donoghue).
Brendan O’Neill of PricewaterhouseCoopers had the “Longest Drive” on the 18th. Tony McKeown of Nursing & Allied Services secured the “Nearest the Pin” on the 13th whilst Robert Jackman of McDonalds Restaurant won “Nearest the Pin” on the 16th.
