Newly Elected Chamber President Emphasises Positive Future PDF Print E-mail

On Friday, 20th June Waterford Chamber hosted their President’s Midsummer Dinner at Faithlegg House Hotel in association with Ireland’s fastest growing network 3.

Addressing over 100 members at his first event as Chamber President, Colin McGookin emphasised the positive future for the City: “Waterford is uniquely positioned, with real opportunities for investment and significant potential for growth. Despite the economic environment we should look forward with a strong sense of self belief and absolute determination to succeed. The major infrastructural improvements in our road, rail, air and sea access are transformative and offer unprecedented opportunities.”

Stephen Hibbitts, National Account Manager at 3, commented: “3 is delighted to be working with Waterford Chamber – as the fastest growing network in Ireland, 3 brings the best value mobile products and services to Waterford. 3 has recently entered the business market and is delivering savings of up to 30% on the mobile bills of businesses in the Waterford area and beyond. 3 also has a very special and longstanding association with Waterford as Managing Director Robert Finnegan is a native of Dunmore East.”
