€collective is an association of businesses and organisations with a common interest in improving their environmental performance and reducing their associated operating costs. We offer a broad range of environment-related training courses and support services to its members. €collective is jointly supported by Waterford Chamber and by FAS.
Our aims are to promote knowledge and awareness of environmental issues in the business community, and to assist organisations to;
-> Comply with environmental law.
-> Measure and continuously improve their environmental performance.
-> Minimise environmental risk from business activities.
-> Positively influence customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
€collective is run by, and for, its own member companies. Membership is free and open to all businesses and organisations - but does require some commitment.
Members are expected to:
-> Have an Environmental Policy
-> Monitor their own environmental performance
-> Have a specific environmental improvement objective
All members are entitled to a free ‘Environmental Health-check’ and will be given help in meeting the membership criteria if needed. Full members (i.e. members who have demonstrated they meet the above criteria) are entitled to use the €collective logo as evidence of their environmental credentials.
