Welcome to Waterford Childcare Centre

Our centre is a community based childcare facility whose Board of Directors is drawn from parents, local business and industry. We are in the Northern Extension of the Industrial Park within easy access of the city centre, industrial areas and WIT.

Our building, which is spacious and bright with lots of natural lighting, includes six large playrooms. The children are invited to join the playroom which matches their age and individual needs. We welcome up to 90 children, ranging in age from 3 months to 5 years. We also care for children aged 4-7 years in our after school club.

Other Rooms include sleep and rest rooms and a welcoming child centred, play orientated reception. Our enclosed garden, which hosts a variety of games, is at the rear of the building. We have recently developed an on site, all weather playground.

Our team of professionally trained and experienced staff are always on hand to ensure that each day is one of play and discovery, where care and education reach a happy medium. Our younger children meet and enjoy the company of their friends through chat, song, dance, floor play, puzzles, toys, etc. The older children are challenged with similar fun and games. They also engage in Montessori and High/Scope activities.

Our highly qualified chef serves a selection of nutritious meals that are freshly prepared on a daily basis including breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
