The TSSG in the Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) is the largest Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) research centre in Ireland.
The TSSG ethos is to build links between academic and industrial research, through the management of a balanced portfolio of basic and applied research. Combined with this is the commercial activity involved in spinning off a number of communications software companies.
