Ronnie O’Toole, Chief Economist

Ronnie joined National Irish Bank in August 2007. Formerly a Senior Economist with Forfás, Dr. O’Toole has published a number of articles and reports on Ireland’s trade, productivity and competitiveness performance. Earlier this year, he published a report on Ireland’s Wealth entitled “The Emerald Isle – The Wealth of Modern Ireland”. He contributes regularly to national print and broadcast media on a wide range of economic issues. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.

Mr. Michael Logan, Head of Investments

Michael is responsible for the strategic development, implementation and growth of National Irish Bank’s investment product suite. He joined National Irish Bank in 2008 from GlobalReach Securities Ltd., where he worked as Portfolio Manager. He also previously held a number of senior investment and wealth management positions with Ulster Bank. He holds a number of professional qualifications including a Qualified Financial Advisor from the Life Insurance Association, as well a Diploma and Certificate in Dealing from the ACI Financial Markets Association.
