Following on the success of our popular networking event in January, we are delighted to welcome members to our second Open Door evening of the year. These events will be held in various locations around the City in 2008. Event details are as follows:

 

Date: Thursday, 1st May

Time: 5.30pm Onwards

Book A Room was first established in 1997 by Regina Mangan. The Company was the very first in Waterford to specialise in Property Rental and Management. Grant aid of 7,000 pounds from the Waterford City Enterprise Board was critical at the time to enable Regina to set up this business. The Company first traded from a very small premises over Sasha on Broad Street.

 

Here at Book A Room, we realise that our business is about people, not property and recognising that moving can often be difficult and sometimes very stressful. With over eleven years experience we know the property rental business extremely well and are therefore well placed to make the entire process as simple and efficient as possible for all our clients. We have an extensive portfolio of properties for people to choose from. 

 

Book A Room has experienced tremendous growth in the rental market and last year (2007) we achieved over 1,000 lettings. Clients included migrant workers from other parts of Ireland, foreign nationals, construction staff, companies, medical personnel and students. We are optimistic that we will exceed these numbers in 2008.

 

The company has a sizeable number of exclusive Complex Management and Letting Contracts which include the prestigious Railway Square development and Glencove on the Dunmore Road.

 

On 12th March this year, Book A Room moved to new premises at 36 Parnell Street, Waterford. This landmark building is located right in the heart of the business quarter of the City.  The move to this new premise reflects the company’s presence as market leaders in the Property Rental Sector in Waterford. The new office has already generated an increased flow of tenants. And particularly as the rental market is so strong at the moment, this new location is advantageous for both landlords and prospective tenants.

 

Book A Room has recently launched its Commercial Division. The Company is delighted to announce that we will have a superb portfolio of serviced offices in Railway Square and other locations within and outside the City in the coming months. As well as the serviced offices we have a number of retail and office units available to rent.

 

As the company has grown, we have taken on more staff and continue to offer the best in customer service. Book A Room now employs nine staff, all of whom are competent in their own field. This is a growth from three employees in 2006 to nine employees in 2008. 

 

The company continues to grow and to provide a complete solutions package within the property rental market. With this in mind, we can now arrange anything from:


Fit Out
We work closely with a variety of furniture distributors and manufacturers. We can provide a variety of services which include; show house design & furnishing, complete furniture packages, sourcing & installation of tiles, flooring, kitchens, etc.  Book A Room provide a variety of quality furnishing solutions, individually tailored to our clients needs.  Regina has over ten years experience in Fit-out.

Maintenance
We have a designated maintenance department which looks after any repairs/decoration or improvements which may be necessary.  We are able to attend to emergencies and only use registered contractors. Mortgage & Insurance Services
Book A Room has applied to the Financial Regulator for approval to become a mortgage intermediary. We will in the coming weeks provide an introductory service for clients and the public for mortgage and insurance services. Such insurance services include property protection and house contents.

Cleaning
Our cleaning team can provide pre let, end of tenancy cleans and weekly cleans on behalf of landlords and tenants as required. This enables us to ensure trustworthy and trained staff are looking after client properties, and the general costs are kept reasonable.

Connection
We can arrange telephone line, internet line, broadband and television. This will be hassle free and there is no charge to our clients.


In conclusion
