Boy Soldier is based on the story of the 14 year old John Condon, the youngest allied soldier killed in the First World War during the second battle of Ypres on 24th May 1915 and a native of Ballybricken, Waterford. This dramatic piece of theatre tells the story of many of the Irishmen who fought and died alongside him and have largely been forgotten in the annals of history, giving them and their story a voice once more.
